mundiaal ("we", "the game") is a free football prediction game. This page explains what data we handle and why. Short version: we store the minimum needed to run the game, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything by emailing us.

What we collect

• Account info — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We use it only to identify your account.
• Game profile — the display name and country you choose. These are public on the leaderboard, so don't put personal info in your display name.
• Game data — your predictions and points.
• Local storage — we store your session and preferences in your browser so you stay signed in.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to measure how many people visit the site (aggregate traffic, devices and countries). This helps us improve the game. We don't run ads and we don't sell your data.

What we never do

• We never sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
• We never show your email address to other players.
• We never ask for payment details — the game is free and involves no betting.

Where it's stored

Data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud) servers, protected by Google's security infrastructure and by access rules so only you can change your own picks.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or permanently delete all data linked to your account (GDPR & similar laws). Email contact@mundiaal.com from the address you signed in with and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Age

The game is intended for players aged 13 and over.

The game

mundiaal is a free prediction game played for points and bragging rights only. There are no entry fees, no real-money prizes and no gambling of any kind. The percentages shown are probability estimates for fun and context — they are not betting odds and we are not a betting operator.

Fair play

• One account per player. Accounts that manipulate points, exploit bugs or use multiple identities may be removed.
• Display names must not be offensive, impersonate others or contain personal data. We may rename or remove accounts that break this.
• Picks lock at kickoff. Published results and points are final.

Independence

mundiaal is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to FIFA, any team, league or official tournament organiser. Team and player names appear solely as factual references to public sporting events.

The boring part

The game is provided "as is". We do our best to keep results accurate and the site online, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and we may update or discontinue features at any time. By playing you accept these terms.
